朝顔の歴史は古く、奈良時代に唐の国から薬として渡来したものが始まりと言われ、古来最も広く愛されてきた植物の一つです。真夏の太陽が照りつける前の爽やかな 朝の始まりを告げる瑞々しい姿をダイアモンドとサファイアで表現しました。鮮やかな 緑色の葉の裏で蟻が１匹休んでいます。
