ひと雨ごとに暖かさが増し、ギメルの山の桜も五分咲きとなりました。今朝は、アトリエの職人が花の咲いたふきのとうを収穫してきました。みずみずしい淡緑色の可愛い花はアトリエに飾った後、茎の部分を煮物やきんぴらごぼうにしていただきます。

Butterbur scape

It is getting warmer with each rain and cherry blossoms on Gimel mountain are half in bloom. One of our craftsmen harvested the blooming butterbur scape this morning. After decorating the cute fresh pale green flowers in the atelier, the scape will be served as simmered dish or kinpira which is cooked in soy sauce and sugar.
