新緑がまぶしい季節に 1.May.2017

新緑がまぶしい季節になりました。朝摘みの花山椒やタラの芽、わらびなど山から恵んでもらった山菜を味わい、窓を開ければ 日に日に上達している小鳥のさえずりが聞こえます。豊かな自然に囲まれながら、制作に取り組める幸せを感じています。これから山椒が実をつけて、収穫するのが待ち遠しいです。そして、自然からもらったインスピレーションがジュエリーとなって出来上がってくるのが楽しみです。

In opening the window to the fierce fresh greenery, I can see and hear the birds twittering. They grow stronger with each day as we move into spring. Last month, early in the morning, we were out in search of the many natural blessings found in the mountains. We were able to find flowering Japanese peppers, tara bud shoots, bracken ferns and Japanese pepper trees. They were enjoyed enormously by all of us. We are now waiting patiently for the Japanese pepper tree to grow its pepper corns.
I am very happily aware of my fortune in being surrounded with nature and to be able to work in such environment for my jewelry creations. The inspirations from nature become jewelry and I look forward to introducing them to you.
