新しい日常のなかで 27.June.2020

県をまたぐ移動の自粛が解除され、街や観光地に少しずつ賑わいが戻ってきました。まだまだ不安は残り不便もありますが、「新しい日常」のなかで少しでも豊かな生活を送りたいものです。そんななか、作成中の「野鳥マップ」の鳥の挿絵を依頼していた方から、アトリエのある奥池地区に生息する鳥たちの原画が届きました。繊細に描きこまれた鳥たちの絵を並べて、「あ、この鳥見たことある！」「こんな鳥もいるんですね」「これはモズ！漢字で書くと…百に舌に鳥！」と子ども時代に戻ったようにスタッフと無邪気に笑いあいました。こんな束の間の時間が心を解きほぐしてくれます。

Recently the restrictions on travel across prefectures were lifted and people are getting back to downtown areas and tourist sites little by little.
Uncertainty and inconvenience still remain among us, however we’re trying to find a way to have time for pleasure in our daily life with a “new lifestyle”.
Meanwhile, I received beautiful drawings for a brochure “Wild Birds in Okuike” (now in progress) from people creating illustrations for us.
Over the delicately hand-drawn birds on a table, I had a fun time with staff as if we went back to our childhood – “Oh, I’ve seen this one!”, “I didn’t know they live around this area.”, “These birds are so confusing…” and “How do you write the name in Kanji?” etc.
A moment like this relieves and soothes our mind.
