雨の後、美しい虹がかかりました。ひと雨ごとに秋の気配が濃くなって来ています。日本にはたくさんの雨を表す言葉があります。おなじ降り方でも違う呼び名があったり、季節によって呼び方が変わったり、一説では雨の名前だけでも400以上もあるそうです。そして又、秋は”食欲の秋”とも言われていて、これから実るきのこや栗等、山の恵みも楽しみです。そういう中、秋の長雨の雨音を聴きながら、創作のアイデアを膨らませています。

A beautiful double rainbow appeared across the sky after a rain the other day. I feel that autumn is approaching every time it rains.
There are many ways to express “rain” in Japanese. One theory says that there are 400 words for “rain”. Even the same types of rain, it has various names and the names change depending on the season.
Also, autumn is often said to be “the best season for eating” because it is harvest season, so I am looking forward to enjoying the blessing of nature such as mushrooms and chestnuts. Meanwhile, I am expanding ideas for creation in the sound of autumn prolonged rainfall.
