国立科学博物館 特別展「宝石」地球が生み出すキセキ 19.January.2022

大寒を前にギメルの山は白く雪化粧をしています。降る雪が朝日に照らされてダイアモンドのように輝くなか、犬たちは無邪気に走り回っています。
アトリエでは、国立科学博物館で2月19日から開催される特別展「宝石」に向けての準備が佳境に入っています。そこでは、鉱物の生い立ちから、発見された原石が磨かれカット、デザインされてジュエリーとして洗練されて行くまでの過程を知ることができます。地球が生み出した奇跡の宝石から驚きや感動を得られるまたとない機会です。ぜひ、足をお運びください。

The Special Exhibition “GEM” is being held at the National Museum of Nature and Science, Tokyo

Snow-glazed mountain stands behind Gimel’s atelier in a season of severe cold. Dogs are excited and running in the snow while falling snowflakes are sparkling like diamonds in the morning sun.

At our atelier our craft men and women are quite busy for the special exhibition “GEM” which is held from February 19th at the National Museum of Nature and Science, Tokyo. The exhibition shows how the minerals grew and are cut and crafted to gemstones and jewelry. It is a unique opportunity and we hope you will enjoy the wonder of the birth of gems which were born in earth hundreds of millions of years ago. I highly recommend for you to visit there.
