原木しいたけを収穫しました 31.March.2022

芦屋川沿いの桜は瞬く間に開花し、暖かい日差しに誘われて鳥がさえずる季節になりました。先週、ギメルの菜園の原木に育った椎茸を職人のM君が雨が降る前にと収穫してくれました。大きく立派に育った原木椎茸は肉厚で香りも格別です。もう少しすると、タラの芽やコシアブラ、ワラビやゼンマイ、それに花山椒などが次々と大きくなって、私たちの食卓に季節の味が並びます。

Harvest of log shiitake mushrooms

The cherry blossoms along the Ashiya River bloomed in a blink of an eye, and the warm sunshine invited the birds to sing.
Last week, one of craftsmen harvested shiitake mushrooms grown on the logs in our vegetable garden before start raining. The large and splendidly grown log shiitake mushrooms are thick and have exceptional scents.
Angelic tree buds, eleutherococcus, warabi, Japanese royal fern and Japanese pepper trees will grow one after another in a little while, seasonal dishes will be lined up on our table.
